Israel Recreational Hockey Association

The Israel Recreational Hockey Association (IRHA) was formed by North American olim who live throughout Israel. Its purpose is to allow players of all ages, abilities, and sex to continue playing Hockey in a friendly atmosphere, while living in Israel.

The IRHA is an open group of Hockey enthusiasts who gather at the Canada Centre's Olympic size Hockey rink in the picturesque northern Israel town of Metulla to play a fun, non-checking game of Hockey. The IRHA welcomes all who are interested to join them for a friendly game of Hockey, often followed by relaxation in the Jacuzzi and pool at the Centre, as well as Maariv and shwarma in nearby Kiryat Shemona.

The IRHA holds an annual Tournament in Israel each winter, and bi-weekly games on Thursday nights.
